As a responsibility with the indigenous people of the world, the Canadian Human Rights International Organization (CHRIO), aware of the serious problems of Human Rights violations of the Maya Achi Tribe of Guatemala, victims of forced displacement, genocide and theft of their ancestral lands on the hands of violence generating agents, and government agents, CHRIO has offered its support, given their linguistic barriers.
Canada, a generous country, has provided support and protection to members of this indigenous people allowing them to live in peace without the deprivation that forced them to cross borders to this great nation.
The Canadian Human Rights International Organization has offered to work alongside with these indigenous people since their arrival to be integrated with the aboriginal peoples of Canada.
